Overview
Tropical Sage is a beautiful Florida native perrennial herb with aromatic leaves and showy flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Flowers are usually red, but can sometims be white or even less commonly pink. Thrives in a wide range of soil types and moisture conditions.
Germination Instructions
Surface sow, seeds require sunlight to germinate.
Ethnobotany
Tropical Sage is generally not considered to be edible to humans, but research into possible therapeutic applications is ongoing.
